Training course title: Responding to symptoms.
Facilitator: Dr. N. Malangu PhD, DSc Med - Imperial Health Sciences – South Africa
Course objectives:
After completing the training course, participants are expected to:
Understand the symptoms, etiology, prognoses, and the treatments of minor ailments and some major and chronic diseases
Able to differentiate minor ailments from major diseases
Generate flowcharts based on symptoms.
Be able to decide when refer the patient to hospital or any other health care provider.
Place: National Medical Supplies Fund -Khartoum
Time: 9 - 13 March 2016
ELIGIBILITY
NMSF will accept applications from pharmacists who are working in the community pharmacy.
Participants must meet all the general eligibility requirements;
written and spoken English language skills
At least four years work experience
Member of: Pharmacy Specialization Board, Pharmacy education, Medical Council, Sudanese Pharmacists Union, Public sector pharmacists (including civil servants, police, national security and military medical services)
